Erica, a young up-and-coming lawyer who is chasing a dream of getting a promotion at the office, makes a fool out of herself publicly after drinking too much at a yearly work event. Erica ends up getting fired and sued, but she knows she didn't consume any alcohol that evening as she is a recovering alcoholic. Something else happened that night and Erica intends to unravel the mystery and get her life back. The search for truth turns out to be much different than she had expected.
